Who are we?

The Climate Youth Ambassador Program was the idea of one teenager in mid-2018. Silicon Valley Clean Energy, the clean energy provider for 13 Bay Area communities, was very interested in the idea, and offered their assistance to kickstart the program. With their support, The Climate Youth Ambassador Program grew to include high schoolers from all across the Bay Area, working in unison to educate individuals, particularly the youth, about the importance of solving the climate crisis. We aim to reach as many events and schools as possible in an effort to have a widespread impact on the habits and lifestyle of our community. We believe that awareness is the key to a greener and more sustainable future!

The Climate Youth Ambassador Program is a nationally-recognized organization, having been honored as a winner of the 2020 Our Planet, Our Purpose: STEM for Changemaking Challenge by Ashoka, which recognizes organizations using STEM to promote sustainability in their community.
